With over 30 years of experience as a tour leader, cultural interpreter, and spiritual guide, Juan José has dedicated his life to creating journeys that go far beyond sightseeing. His work is rooted in connection—between people, history, and the living energy of the land.
Born and shaped by the rich traditions of Mexico, Juan José carries an extensive and deeply embodied knowledge of the ancient Maya world. From the sacred sites of Yucatán and Chiapas to the jungles of Guatemala and Honduras, he has spent decades guiding travelers through landscapes where history, mythology, and spirit intertwine.
Blending his background in tourism leadership, education, international travel coordination and past training as an Emergency Medical Technician, Juan José brings both structure and safety to every journey he leads.

Juan José has guided for renowned international travel companies, lectured at universities across the United States, and collaborated with organizations such as National Geographic. Today, he leads cultural and spiritual experiences designed to reconnect travelers with the wisdom of the past—and with themselves.
